Purveyors of Fiction is an American prog punk band from Cleveland, Ohio
History
Nick was drunk at the Agora bitching about security robbing him of personal property. He told Drew he'd start a band with him because Nick starts bands when he's drinking. Drew thought Nick was a creepy dick but he'd suffice until he could find someone better. Drew and Luke were already friends and with Nick they had a full lineup so the band formed. The trio released an EP and played some shows. Luke left to pursue his own thing with his primary band, Sails and avoid an eventual battle with the loud, foul-mouthed Nick.
Evan stepped in to replace Luke and brought with him doublekick and comedy. Shortly thereafter, in Nick's quest to have fifteen voice block guitar harmony, Christina was added. The harmony was short-lived and in a vie for "personal growth" she moved along to "hone her craft" at world renowned conservatory. With a heavy heart Drew waved goodbye to what he hoped would eventually force Nick out of the band.
At this point no one has come forward to replace Nick and the once again trio continue to play regular gigs in the greater Cleveland area. Drew and Evan now both wait for someone to come in and take Nick's spot, preferably with less distortion and more tone in both performance and personality. In the mean time they will cope with him while waiting for the arrival of their debut full length: Hollow Notes
