The Standing 69s
Template:000 - BandThe Standing 69s were an American punk rock band from Lakewood, Ohio.
History
It started as a drummer Rob Kieger, bass player Tom Gray, and a guitarist John Bowden getting together to goof around in Rob's basement on Laverne Rd in West Park. After a few jam sessions, we added a singer Chris Lanza and another guitarist Ryan Laurie. Ryan only practiced a few times with us and never played a live show before he left. We then replaced him with Mike Gurchik aka "The Gorb". Our first gig was opening up for The Vibrators at the Blind Lemon in Cleveland.
