is an American Metal band from Ohio

History

Gargantua changed their name to Martini after the death of drummer Kenny Larkin, when he lost a battle with cancer. Even in the late-stage of his affliction he refused to stop drumming and continued playing out with the band until he physically wasn't able to anymore, opening Torment's "Relapse of Aggression" release party on September 19th 1991, and playing other shows until mid-October. Larkin would pass away less than a month after their final show. In 1992 they re-recorded 4 songs from the Gargantua demo alongside 2 previously-unrecorded Gargantua tracks to make their self-titled demo, which was recorded and released in honor of Larkin.

From late 1989 until their final shows in October 1991 they were very active playing shows in Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Michigan, and other places around the midwest. They played frequently as co-headliner with Brick Mistress and also played with Decimator, N.M.E, H.A.T.E., Torment, Mercury, Medalyon and many others.
