Forest Park Drive is an American pop-punk band from the Youngstown/Boardman area of Ohio. The group is locally known for its melodic pop-punk style, energetic performances, and its connection to the regional alternative/punk scene.

History

Forest Park Drive formed in the Youngstown area during the 2010s. The band is closely connected to the local punk community through vocalist/guitarist Alex Richards, who was previously a founding member of the Youngstown/Boardman punk/alt-rock band The Service Monkeys.

Alex brought over the songwriting style and melodic punk sensibilities developed in The Service Monkeys, helping shape Forest Park Drive’s sound. Although public information on the band is limited, they were active in the local circuit, performing at small venues, bars, VFW halls, community events and DIY shows common to the Mahoning Valley pop-punk/alt scene.

More detailed history (recording dates, member changes, full show list) can be added as additional information becomes available.
