"We started as Reign of the Fallen and our vocalist died from an overdose. We rewrote the vocals and went on to be Massaro, which was our drummers last name. After arguing about the 250+ names we had written down. TJ was wearing Massaro University tshirt that his dad got the family for Christmas and a light went off in my head. MASSARO! TJ said nooe. It would make home feel weird. I told him it wasn't about him. Lol. The rest is in the music"
