First Offense is an American street punk band from Akron, Ohio
History
Spawned in the mid 90's by brothers Danny and Tommy Doverspike,Akron's First Offense has seen numerous lineup changes,hundreds of gigs,and over a dozen recordings.Practically an institution at this point,the band lurches forward with firm resolute and unwavering belief in the powers of genuine Rock & Roll. Current lineup includes Danny D,Caitie O'Shea,Joe Brown,Josh Offense,and Frank McGee. Aside from their numerous musical projects,members are also involved in matters mechanical,legal,philanthropic, and societal. The band has been touring less frequently in recent years,and rumors of a "lost album" abound. They still manage to mobilize for events near and dear to their hearts,such as anything Mark Linskey is doing, tribute shows for fallen friends,and high glory offers.The band has plans to play punk rock well into the 2030's,with current members beginning to procreate to insure a continuation of their legacy for future generations.
