History

Bangtime Albatross was founded by Matt Amos(fantastic lyricist and songwriter) and Mike Clark(incredible guitar player and songwriter).

The music and lyrics are very passionate and close to all of us. These songs were forged literaly from blood, sweat, and tears. We recorded almost anything that made sound such as empty water bottles and the help of ghosts in the background. We insisted the music be kept real, and it was.

The band was showcased at the 1994 Philadelphia Music Conference (PMC)

All songs were recorded in Troy's basement on Mike's Tascam 388 machine.

The song "St. Antony" was inspired by the painting, "The Temptation of Saint Anthony" by the great surrealist Salvador Dali
