Pale Grey Lore is a Heavy Psychedelic Doom Rock band from Columbus, Ohio.Template:Band and Artists
History
Pale Grey Lore began as a collaboration between brothers Michael (guitar, vocals) and Adam Miller (drums), with Donovan Johnson (bass) joining up in the summer of 2014. Their self-produced debut album was released on CD and digital download in the summer of 2016, and Xander Roseberry (guitar, backing vocals) was added to the lineup that winter. The album is slated for release on vinyl in 2017 through the Kozmik Artifactz imprint Oak Island Records.
Pale Grey Lore create heavy, fuzzed-out rock and roll that is spacey and psychedelic, yet focused and concise. They specialize in hypnotic grooves, catchy melodies, and lyrics that explore philosophical themes using imagery drawn from science fiction, fantasy, and cosmic horror. Pale Grey Lore's debut self-titled album was engineered by Andy Sartain and mastered by Harold LaRue. Conceived as a series of surreal vignettes, each track depicts allegorical scenes from a dystopian, post-apocalyptic world in which the lines between science and the occult, technology and superstition, are hopelessly blurred.
