== History ==
== History ==
It started as a drummer Rob Kieger, bass player Tom Gray, and a guitarist John Bowden getting together to goof around in Rob's basement on Laverne Rd in West Park. After a few jam sessions, we added a singer Chris Lanza and another guitarist Ryan Laurie. Ryan only practiced a few times with us and never played a live show before he left. We then replaced him with Mike Gurchik aka "The Gorb". Our first gig was opening up for [[The Vibrators]] at the [[Blind Lemon]] in Cleveland.
Standing 69s were active in the Cleveland punk scene. Their verified lineup consisted of vocalist Chris Lanza, guitarists John Bowden and Blake Ferguson, bassist Tom Grey, and drummer Rob Keiger. The band’s recorded output includes the EP ''Short Dress''.
