Mike Hudson (born 1956; died October 29, 2017) was an American singer, occasional guitarist, author, and journalist from Cleveland, Ohio. He was a founding member, lead singer, and guitarist of The Pagans, one of the earliest punk rock bands to emerge from the Cleveland underground scene. Career

Mike Hudson emerged from Cleveland’s underground music scene in the mid-1970s. Along with his brother Tim Allee, Hudson co-founded The Pagans circa 1974. The band became one of the earliest punk groups in the United States, recording and performing extensively in Ohio before relocating to New York City in 1977.<ref> Mike Hudson, Discogs. Following his initial tenure with The Pagans, Hudson was involved in several other projects. He performed with Les Raving Sounds, an art-punk group connected to the Cleveland punk scene, and later with The Styrenes, a Cleveland-based punk band active during the late 1970s and early 1980s. Hudson also had a documented, short-lived association with The Murder Junkies in the mid-1990s.<ref> Mike Hudson, Discogs. Retrieved December 13, 2025.

In addition to his musical work, Hudson was a published author and journalist. He eventually left Cleveland in the early 1980s and later lived and worked in New York City and other locations before settling in Los Angeles, California, where he died in 2017.
