== Background ==
Local press announced the EP as the band’s then-new release in autumn 2015, noting that the songs approach the theme of love from different perspectives and promoting a release show and art event at the 5 O’Clock Lounge in Cleveland.<ref>{{cite web |title=Glam Rockers Vanity Crash to Host CD Release Concert and Art Show at 5 O'Clock Lounge |url=https://www.clevescene.com/music/glam-rockers-vanity-crash-to-host-cd-release-concert-and-art-show-at-5-oclock-lounge-4643843 |website=Cleveland Scene |date=September 30, 2015 |access-date=2025-12-03}}</ref> A review in the ''Lakewood Observer'' described ''Love'' as “a stomping EP” whose five songs can be categorized as glam rock.<ref>{{cite web |title=Lakewood Observer, Vol. 11 Issue 23 |url=https://media.lakewoodobserver.com/issue_pdfs/Observer_Vol_11_Issue_23.pdf |website=Lakewood Observer |date=2015 |access-date=2025-12-03}}</ref>
